Hu Xi

Hi, I'm Hu Xi, currently work in SAP as a support consultant in Shanghai, but trying to look for a user experience design job now.

 

I've always been trying to explore things I'm interested in and willing to spend time on. So my background may not seem like a pure designer, and it also brings me and my recruiter confusion about where to put me.

 

With more than one and half years experience doing my current job, I know it clearly that senior consultant is not what I want to become. I want to be in a more creative and flexible role, because creating something is what I really itch for.

So I tried to connect the dots and figure out what is the big thing for me. I started to learn painting when I was in kindergarten. I've always been a big fan of comics and animation. I learned design courses in college. I tried to make apps with fellow students in graduate school, both design and programming part. I've been going to new media art exhibitions. I like reading about new ideas. So I think it really is time for me to give design a shot as a career.
